My name is Aarti and my artistic journey began over 20 years ago, not in a studio or art school, but through curiosity and a desire to create. From a young age, my creative ability was often recognised, with many describing me as naturally gifted. For me, however, it began simply as a hobby — something I explored instinctively throughout the years, without formal training. Encouraged by my loved ones, who strongly believed in my work from the very beginning, I continued to develop my practice through experimentation and an ongoing commitment to refining my craft and their support has remained a constant foundation throughout my journey.

A deeply defining moment came with the loss of my grandfather who I was very close to. He was a man of few words, but he always held a quiet belief in my creativity and encouraged me to keep creating. After his passing, his words stayed with me and continued to echo in my thoughts. During that time, nothing else felt aligned; every path I considered felt uncertain. What became increasingly clear was a deeper pull toward art — a quiet but constant knowing that this was where I was meant to be. In that clarity, I began to understand my work not just as a passion, but as a path I was truly meant to follow.

In September 2025, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to my artistic practice. Within such a short amount of time, my work has gained international attention through a series of high-profile artworks, media features, public figures, gallery exhibitions and bespoke commissions. A portrait I created of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor attracted widespread coverage through South Asia News, reaching an audience of more than 2.1 million viewers across digital platforms and introducing my work to a global audience.

 

From statement portraiture to artworks designed specifically for refined interiors, every piece is approached with the same level of care, thought and attention to detail. I believe in making every single piece anything but ordinary; It should create a feeling, spark conversation or become part of a space that really stands out. Each piece is developed thoughtfully and made to be lived with for years to come.
