No.II - Bloom
The second edition as part of the couture empress collection. It represents the teenage stage; a moment of blooming- where inner beauty starts to surface. There is softness in the becoming, but also a growing radiance that begins to catch light differently that has been intentionally shown through the placements of the gemstones and it is shown as if the self is slowly learning how to be seen. It is inspired by the symbolism of the peacock, the figure is presented in jewel-toned feathers and created in oil paint, acrylic but enhanced with hand applied gemstone detailing. The work emphasises texture, movement and luxury. Intentionally designed to transform the subject into a powerful statement piece to captivate and enrich refined spaces.
